Thank you for participating in the user study! Lossy image compression reduces the image size (in our case over 100X) at the cost of losing some details.

Your task is to select the compressed image that looks closer to the original.

Controls:

ARROWS: Use the ARROW keys to move around in the image. Select an interesting part of the image!

KEY 1/KEY 2: Hold the key with a number 1 or 2 on the keyboard to view the compressed image 1 or 2. Release to view the original uncompressed image. After pressing the key 1 or 2 you will not be able to move.

KEY 1/KEY 2 + SPACE: hold the numbers 1 or 2 to select the closer image, then confirm your choice by pressing SPACE while still holding.
